Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 23, 2026.

These terms govern your use of pagereal.com (“PageReal,” “we,” “us”). If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These are launch documents. They describe how PageReal actually operates today rather than covering every eventuality, and we expect to revise them as the publication grows.

Who may use PageReal

The site is intended for a general adult audience. You must be at least 16 years old to use it, or at least 13 with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children — see our Privacy Policy.

Our content is information, not advice

PageReal publishes general informational articles. Nothing on this site is professional legal, medical, financial, tax, or safety advice, and no article creates a professional relationship of any kind. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional about your particular circumstances.

If you believe you are facing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service immediately. Do not delay seeking professional advice because of something you read here.

Accuracy, and its limits

We work to keep articles accurate, sourced, and current, and we correct meaningful errors when we find them. We do not warrant that any article is complete, current, or error-free. Guidance that is sound in general may be wrong for you.

Some PageReal articles are produced with AI-assisted workflows under human review. We describe how in our AI Disclosure. If you spot an error, our Corrections Policy explains how to report it.

Third-party sites and products

We link to third-party websites, sources, products, and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement, and your dealings with a third party are between you and them.

Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy through them at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Intellectual property

The content, design, branding, and arrangement of PageReal are owned by the publisher of PageReal or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, share, and link to our articles freely, and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link.

You may not republish substantial portions, sell, or systematically copy our content without written permission, and you may not use it to train machine-learning models without written permission.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, contact us through the Contact page and we will review it promptly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, scrape or harvest it in a way that burdens our infrastructure, submit unlawful or abusive material through the Contact form, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

We may restrict or withdraw access to anyone who does these things.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher of PageReal and the people who work on it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising from or relating to your use of the site or reliance on its content, whether the claim is in contract, tort, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised such damages are possible.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of a consumer.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the publisher of PageReal from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of another.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Maryland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, we revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PageReal after a change means you accept the revised terms, so it is worth checking the date from time to time. If a change is material, we will make that clear on this page.

General

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the unenforceable provision is applied to the maximum extent permitted. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor to our business. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.

Contact

Questions about these terms, including copyright and other legal enquiries, can be sent through our Contact page. It is the fastest way to reach the editorial desk and the only channel we monitor.
